Symposium Registration and Fees
The fee of the symposium has been set to 26000 ISK (300 Euro), or 22000 ISK (250 Euro) if paid before 1 August.
The fee covers a copy of the ACIA scientific assessment report, a copy of the symposium abstracts/proceedings, the welcome reception (November 8), the symposium dinner (November 10), and refreshments (tea/coffee and lunches).
Registration and booking of accommodation is done via the web registration form (below). Anyone experiencing difficulties with registration should contact Congress Reykjavik at the address given below.
Badges
Each participant will receive a name badge upon registration. For security reasons all participants are requested to wear their badge during symposium activities and social events. The cost for replacing a lost badge is ISK 500
All funds available from the International Arctic Science Committee (IASC) to support the participation of young scientists at the Symposium have now been allocated. In case additional funds to support particiation become available, any further applictions for funding should be referred to Lars-Otto Reiersen at the AMAP Secretariat providing relevant information to support the application.
Payment of Fees
Payment of the registration fee should be made by 1 October 2004 by:1. VISA, EURO, Master, Diners Credit Cards.
Details of card number, expiry date and card holder must be returned by fax or e-mail to Congress Reykjavik. A form for submitting this information will be displayed when you have submitted your registration.

Please be sure to state your family name and the name of the Symposium 'ACIA'
The symposium organizer, Congress Reykjavík, will not be responsible for identifying funds transferred directly into the account when the name of the participant is not mentioned, nor will the organizer accept charges of bank fees associated with the transfer. After having received the payment, Congress Reykjavík will send you a confirmation of your reservation and payment. Reservations by telephone cannot be accepted. You are, however, welcome to make your reservation by fax.
Cancellation terms
Cancellation of registration and hotel reservation: Pre-registered participants who are unable to attend the meeting will have their fee refunded less an administration fee of ISK 5.000, provided that a written notice of non-attendance is received no later than 9 October 2004. After that date no refund may be expected and one (1) night deposit will be withdrawn from your Credit Card for a hotel cancellation. Furthermore, one (1) night deposit will be withdrawn from your Credit Card if there is a 'no-show' at the booked hotel. All refunds will be processed after the symposium.
