AMAP Secretariat: Covid-19 Situation Information Update
The AMAP Secretariat are currently following advice from the Fram Centre regarding working practises.
Phone contacts: The central Secretariat number may be unmanned – for general enquiries please send an e-mail to [email protected]; for ongoing work, Secretariat members can be reached on their mobile/home phones and via their individual e-mail addresses (see the AMAP Contacts page).
Mail handling: Normal post and parcel deliveries will be received at the Fram Centre mail office; there may be some delays in reading mail so please notify the Secretariat by e-mail ([email protected]) regarding any urgent matters involving post. Special deliveries including courier shipments and shipments requiring signing will be handled on a case-by-case basis; please contact the Secretariat by e-mail to make arrangements for handling special deliveries.
We are keeping all planned meetings under review; this includes considering national travel restrictions, in particular those imposed by relevant host countries. Since these conditions are updated and changing at short-notice we will do our best to make decisions that protect the health of our colleagues while, to the extent possible, also allowing ongoing work to continue as planned.
For all meetings, if making travel arrangements we advise that you purchase tickets and make hotel bookings that can be refunded or cancelled without penalty – refer to any relevant travel advisories and insurance conditions, etc.
All planned meetings in the period to at least end-October are currently being arranged as tele-meetings.
